We are a small Arts charity currently seeking an administration and finance assistant to join our operations team and support the board of trustees.

The role will be extremely varied but in general we’re looking for someone with experience of Arts administration and Book Keeping. The other areas such as type of work we do and technology we use (eg Microsoft Teams) can be learned.

Key Responsibilities:

General administration -IT (eg liaising with IT support) -Project specific admin (eg evaluations -Microsoft Teams (setting up meetings and workshops) -Event management admin -Liaising with project engagement officer -Liaising with Business Development/Account Management.

Finance administration -General book keeping duties (Xero training provided if required) -Monitor outgoing/incoming invoices -Update board on cashflow.

Essential -Admin/Book Keeping background -Technology savvy (in particular Microsoft) -Okay working from home some/all time.

Desirable -Passionate about ways Arts can help vulnerable group -Experience organising events/residential retreats -Social Media content/output.

Contract -20 hours per week £15ph -Freelance (initially 3 months then either part time permanent or full-time permanent).
